Figma to Shopify Theme Development

Figma to Shopify theme development for stores with approved storefront designs. I map agreed layouts to Liquid, JSON templates and editable theme sections, with responsive review using representative products and variants. The quote separates theme work from store operations, app integrations and launch responsibilities.

Design within Shopify architecture

The design must work with actual products, variants, collections and settings. Review identifies which templates, sections and snippets need to change. Supported theme architecture helps retain the visual direction while keeping ordinary merchant tasks manageable.

Typical deliverables

  • Scoped Liquid and JSON template development.
  • Editable section settings for suitable content and imagery.
  • Responsive product, collection and marketing layouts.
  • Agreed variant, navigation and cart states.
  • Compatibility review for required apps.

From source to storefront

Send the design, theme and representative catalog examples. We map reusable sections and product data requirements, build in an agreed development copy, and test the scoped flows. Long titles, unavailable products and variant combinations belong in the review, not only the ideal design sample.

Commerce settings are a separate responsibility

Theme development does not by itself configure shipping, tax, payment providers or transactional email. Checkout customization depends on the store plan and supported extension points. Apps, customer migration and store operations are separately scoped.

Relevant experience

The WordPress editing screenshots below are a cross-platform workflow illustration only. They do not prove a Shopify theme build. A permission-cleared, paired Shopify design and implementation example is not published on this page yet.

Shopify example brief: a licensed Figma product/collection design, an unpublished development theme, native section settings, product and variant states, and desktop/mobile captures. Payments, shipping, tax and real checkout acceptance require separate owner testing.

Shopify questions

Can you customize an existing theme?

Yes, after reviewing its structure, license and modifications. A development copy separates review from the live store.

Will the content be editable?

Suitable text, images and layout options can be exposed as section settings. Structural changes may still need Liquid development.

Does Figma define product behavior?

Only the supplied visible states. Real inventory, variants, cart updates and app behavior need their own requirements and tests.

Discuss the storefront

Send the theme name, designs and required templates through the inquiry section. For a content-led website, compare Figma-to-Elementor development.

Have a design you need built?

Send a view-only design link, theme name, template list, representative products/variants and required app behavior. I will scope section settings, responsive testing, revisions, licensing and handover. Store settings, subscriptions and launch authorization are agreed separately; the Elementor packages do not imply Shopify scope.
